We are proud to bring you a special coffee from Roots Coffee exclusively. Aftersweet was firstly designed for the most famous After You Dessert Cafe (www.afteryoudessertcafe.com) in Thailand in 2014. Since then, there are many cafes and coffee shops have been using this afterwsweet for many methods such as Hands and Hearts who are using with aeropress since 2015. We have been using aftersweet at our showroom as espresso and filtered coffee (press and drip). We love the sweetness, rounded of the beans and versatility in term of methods We will keep you updated about how we make coffee with Aftersweet VIMEO and blog soon.
ABOUT (FROM THE ROASTER)
Aftersweet is one of our signature blends designed to pair especially well with desserts. It is sweet with a rounded body and not too much acidity .Although not like the typical coffee you will find in the marketplace , there are certain characteristics that Thais will find familiar and love. The coffee is naturally sweet from the processing method where the skin of the coffee is removed and the fruit is allowed to dry for 7-10 days. This method allows natural fermentation during the drying process and increases the sweetness and body while rounding out the acidity. Aftersweet is comforting and approachable - appealing to a broad range of customers. We purposefully roast this coffee to go well with milk. The coffee flavor is strong enough that it will cut through milk both
as hot and iced milk coffee, while maintaining good balance and sweetness in the cup.
